Our Roots

Born in Turkey, Boxx Coffee was inspired by centuries-old traditions where coffee is more than just a drink—it's an experience. From the bustling streets of Istanbul to the cozy corners of LA, we’ve carried this passion with us, blending ancient techniques with modern tastes to craft a coffee experience like no other.

Founders

Boxx Coffee Roasters started in Istanbul in 2015, when Mert Soley, a former car racer with a passion for precision, and Altuğ Baser, a scientist driven by perfection, combined their expertise as seasoned coffee shop owners. In 2021, they welcomed Arda Barlas, to launch their first US cafe in Los Angeles. Together, they blend their unique skills to deliver an exceptional coffee experience, bringing the best of Turkish coffee culture to a global audience.
